No stopping free-scoring Switzerland

In turn, the Serbian side overcame the hosts 2-0 today to grab second place in a section where three teams finished level on three points apiece. Tijana Filipović netted in all of Serbia’s games.

Key moment: Finland’s last-minute goal against Serbia from outside the box came via the left foot of Amanta Rantanen and earned their only victory.

Star performer: Switzerland captain Camille Surdez ended as top scorer for the elite round of qualification with six goals.

It was our aim to qualify for the European Championship and to win this mini-tournament in Turkey. We believed from start to finish that we could win the group, with a lot of hard work, to qualify for the final tournament.
